THE NATIONAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM
After its much-needed renovation, the National Archaeological Museum houses its spectacular collection of art which flourished in Greece from Neolithic times until the age of the Roman Empire. The building itself is a historic building that was completed in various phases between 1866 and 1939 on plans originally drawn up by Ludwig Lange.
This museum is the largest in Greece and one of the most important in the world, housing famous artifacts from all over Greece like the golden mask of Agamemnon, the bronze statue of Zeus, and much more.
